1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any MavOps product or service — including The Overseer Discord bot, Clip Dummy AI, and the MavOps website (mavops.org) — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

MavOps provides the following products and services:

  • The Overseer — A Discord bot offering XP & leveling, rank systems, Twitch integration, AI-powered trivia, streamer spotlights, chess, and community management tools.
  • Clip Dummy AI — An AI-powered tool that detects, edits, and distributes stream highlights across social media platforms (currently in development).
  • MavOps Website — Information, documentation, and access to our products at mavops.org.

3. User Accounts & Access

Access to our services is provided through third-party platforms (Discord, Twitch). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your accounts on those platforms. Server administrators who add The Overseer to their Discord server are responsible for configuring the bot appropriately for their community. We are not responsible for misconfigurations or misuse by server administrators or members.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to exploit, abuse, or manipulate our systems (including XP manipulation, spam, or automated abuse)
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our services
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our software
  • Use our services to harass, bully, or harm other users
  • Violate Discord's or Twitch's Terms of Service while using our products

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services for any user or server that violates these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of MavOps services — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and branding — are owned by MavOps and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our services without prior written consent.

6. Pricing & Payments

The Overseer is currently in open beta, and all features (including Premium) are available free of charge. Servers that join during the beta period will receive a lifetime discount when paid plans are introduced.

When paid plans launch, pricing will be published on our website. We will provide advance notice before any charges apply. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds, if applicable, will be handled according to our refund policy published at that time.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using our services at any time by removing The Overseer from your server or discontinuing use of our products. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MavOps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
